"My name is Mike and I am a fully qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor with many years professional experience working in various health and community support roles. I have learned the importance of taking a person-centred approach to support and treating everyone as equal.
My priority is to facilitate, not intimidate.
Personal training for people over 40 focuses on maintaining strength, mobility, and overall health while minimizing injury risk. As we age, muscle mass naturally declines, metabolism slows, and joint health becomes a priority. I can work with you and design a program to address these factors"

  • Initial 20 minute consultation

    This consultation will give us an opportunity to establish your goals, lifestyle, any medical conditions, availability and any other special requirements. This can be arranged upon request either by telephone or online video call via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

    This can take place either at your home or in a local gym and will include a movement & postural assessment, a light workout & form coaching and finish with a cool down and any questions and answers. We will also cover your fitness history, injuries, daily movement habits and past experiences with exercise.

    A block of 4 weekly personal training sessions is a great way to stay accountable and committed to your goals and can include General Fitness Progression, Strength & Muscle Building, Fat Loss & Conditioning.

  • Small Group Personal Training
